The
Dual Shoulder Advantage
The
Slider Strap distributes the weight of a musical instrument evenly
across the back and shoulders while providing optimum balance and
support.
The Slider Strap utilizes ergonomic design. By distributing an instrument's
weight over both the musician's shoulders and the back, the Slider
Strap effectively reduces weight on any one particular point of
the body by two thirds. Weight is transferred 1/3 over each shoulder
and 1/3 across the back. This removes wear and tear from body parts
which are more susceptible to injury, and evenly distributes it
to areas of the body which are better designed to resist injury
caused by strain and weight.
The illustrations to the right show more benefits
of the Slider Strap. >>
|
| With
a typical neck strap, weight is focused on an area which is
sensitive to pressure and vulnerable to injury. Posture is often
negatively affected as well. |
 |
| Weight
over one shoulder contributes to poor posture, which in turn
can lead to Repetitive Strain and Repetitive Use injuries (RSI/RUI).
The focus of weight on the shoulder may also pinch nerves, contributing
to elbow and wrist pain. |

Slider Strap distributes weight evenly over both shoulders and
across the back. Pain free, balanced support is achieved with
the Slider Strap. |
